Huffington Post: America's Favorite Casual Restaurant Chains
Market Force Information has released the results of its recent casual restaurant chain survey. The study, which polled 7,000 individuals over the age of 18, found that Maggiano's is the most popular casual restaurant chain in the country.
Of the 114 chains studied, Olive Garden initially amassed the highest number of votes. But when viewed as a calculation of votes per location, Maggiano’s ranked first.

A recent Market Force Information Systems study which asked more than 7,000 participants to vote for their favorite restaurant in the casual dining sector from a selection of 144 chains.
For a more objective perspective, and one representative of what Americans really single out as their favorite, Market Force’s research team then factored in the number of locations for each chain for a “weighted” view of the results. In this scenario, Maggiano’s came up trumps as having the most number of votes per restaurant.

The study, conducted in February, was designed to uncover which shoe retailers consumers like most and why they prefer one to another. Market Force first calculated the favorites based on the total number of votes, and then factored in the number of locations for each chain for a more level view of the results. Of all the retailers included in the study, DSW garnered the most total votes, and it remained the leader when the votes were indexed by the number of store locations.

In survey results released by Market Force Information, DSW was named America’s No. 1 shoe retailer by more than 4,000 consumers polled.
Nordstrom, Nike, Shoe Carnival and Famous Footwear rounded out the top five. The study was designed to uncover which shoe retailers consumers like most and why they prefer one to another.

Nordstrom has topped Kohl's as the best American fashion retail store.
According to the Daily Mail, Nordstrom surpassed the three-time winner Kohl's in a number of categories including business and evening wear, dressing room interiors and store layouts. Kohl's, however, outranked the Washington-based retailer with regard to loyalty programs.
