Karl Maier, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Karl Maier is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Market Force Information, including all aspects of strategy and execution. In recognition of Market Force Information’s success and his outstanding leadership, Karl was honored as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2008 award winner in the Rocky Mountain region.
Prior to founding Market Force Information,Karl was the Executive Chairman of the Board of Vector ESP, a provider of professional Information Technology services that was ultimately acquired by MTM Technologies, Inc., a publicly-traded IT services firm. Before Vector, Karl was the Chief Executive Officer of VIA NET.WORKS, a public international Internet service provider. He was recruited by the Board of Directors and successfully led the company’s turn-around. Prior to VIA, Karl was the President & CEO of Cordillera Communications, Corp., a Latin American wireless service provider that was acquired by Nextel International.
Prior to Cordillera, Karl worked in Germany serving as Vice President of Freyberg Hambros, a Frankfurt-based investment banking boutique, and as CFO of Berlin Kosmetik GmbH, a cosmetics manufacturer in Berlin. Previously, he was an Assistant Vice President at the Bank of Boston. He received a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
Tim Ogle, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Europe
Tim Ogle is the European CEO of Market Force Information and is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the European division of Market Force. Before being acquired by Market Force, Tim co-founded Retail Eyes in 2003 with the vision of revolutionising how businesses perceived and used mystery shopping programmes through a proprietary and first of its kind, online customer intelligence reporting suite.
In little over eight years, Tim led the business to quickly become market leaders, widely known for innovative and engaging customer experience programmes. Following the acquisition of Retail Eyes by Market Force, Tim sits on the Executive Leadership team of Market Force Information and is working on developing its European strategy, having recently opened offices in France and Spain and more European locations in the pipeline.
Tim is also co-founder of Blue Cube Creative – a successful Milton Keynes based design and advertising agency which works with a growing international roster of clients as well as providing vital creative support to Market Force as it looks to strengthen its brand worldwide.
Janet Eden-Harris, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy
Janet Eden-Harris is responsible for marketing, product and corporate strategy at Market Force Information. Janet joined Market Force from JD Power & Associates, where she was Vice President of their Web Intelligence Unit. Before that, she was CEO of Umbria, a Boulder-based information services company, which was acquired by J.D. Power in 2008. Prior to Umbria, Janet was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) where she was responsible for global marketing operations, product management and strategy.
Janet spent the previous decade directing marketing initiatives at i2 Technologies, a leading provider of supply chain management solutions for multiple industries including CPG and Retail. Prior to i2, she was Chief Marketing Officer for Aspect Development which was acquired by i2 to become one of the largest mergers in software history. Prior to Aspect, Janet headed marketing for CADIS, a start-up company, providing parts management solutions and early business applications, which was acquired by Aspect Development.
Prior to CADIS, Janet was co-founder of Eden-Harris, Associates, a marketing consulting agency, and held a variety of senior management positions in the high tech and agency sector working for clients such as Carte Blanche Credit Card, Barclays Bank, and PSA Airlines. Janet holds a B.A. degree in Journalism and Marketing from the University of Oregon.
Todd Siegler, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Todd Siegler is responsible for all domestic and international strategic alliances, mergers and partnerships as well as the legal and administration functions for the company. Prior to joining Market Force Information, Todd was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Verio, Inc., a Tier 1 ISP and web hosting company wholly owned by NTT Communications. He led strategic development, mergers, acquisitions, asset dispositions and strategic partnerships.
Prior to Verio, Todd served as Vice President of International Operations and Legal for Excel Communications, Inc. (formerly a subsidiary of Teleglobe, Inc.), where he led the successful launch of the business into Canada and managed the proposed launch of the business into the United Kingdom, France and Germany. At Excel, Todd also served as Assistant General Counsel where he led the negotiation of strategic transactions, mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, including the billion dollar acquisition of Telco Communications Group and the multi-billion dollar merger of Excel with Teleglobe.
Todd began his career as a corporate attorney with the Dallas law firm of Gardere & Wynne, L.L.P., representing both public and private companies in negotiating mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, strategic agreements and corporate governance. Todd earned his Political Science degree from Princeton University and his J.D. with honors from Tulane University School of Law.
Mark Cosola, Chief Operating Officer
Mark Cosola is responsible for client service and operations for Market Force. He joined the firm in February of 2007 in the VP of Business Integration role where he was responsible for the integration of acquisitions. He moved into the SVP of Operations role in March of 2010, and the COO role in September of 2011. Mark has significant professional experience in both industry and management consulting. Prior to joining Market Force Information, Mark held management positions at APAC, The Home Depot, American Retail Group, and C&S Bank. As the Director of Project Office for APAC, Mark was responsible for company-wide business process improvement and integration project management.
At The Home Depot, Mark was the Director of Six Sigma and was responsible for company-wide process improvement. As the Director of Finance & Special Projects for American Retail Group, Mark was responsible for financial planning/analysis and the leadership of strategic change initiatives, including a year-long project to integrate two $300 million retailers into a single company. At C&S Bank, Mark was an Assistant Vice President responsible for strategic information planning and project management.
Mark also brings 10 years of management consulting experience with Kurt Salmon Associates, Deloitte & Touche, and Arthur Anderson & Company where he provided integration, process improvement, and IT consulting services to clients in the retail, distribution, grocery, consumer products, and financial services industries. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with honors in 1982 and his Master of Business Administration degree as a Matherly Scholar in 1984, both from the University of Florida.
Rushton McGarr, Founder and Senior Vice President of Product
Rushton McGarr is responsible for efficiently delivering high-quality products and services to market. He also represents Market Force as an elected board member of the Mystery Shop Providers Association. Prior to founding Market Force Information, Rushton McGarr led product management and marketing teams at several venture-backed, Internet software companies in Austin, Texas.
As Director of Product Marketing at NewsStand, a digital media company, he was responsible for the company’s software product roadmap and all direct consumer marketing that successfully increased new subscriber growth and customer loyalty for partners like The New York Times and USA TODAY. At Factory Logic, a provider of web-based lean operations software for manufacturers which was ultimately acquired by SAP, he led product management and marketing strategy. Before Factory Logic, Rushton worked at Dell where he was responsible for pricing of the company’s multi-billion dollar consumer PC and laptop product lines in the United States.
Rushton began his career as an Assistant Vice President at the Bank of Boston. Rushton earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. with high honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
Cheryl leads the global Analytics and Insights team for Market Force. As Chief Research Officer she is responsible for integrating research functions within Market Force, overseeing the development and evaluation of research and serving as a thought leader to clients and industry associations. Cheryl focuses on building multi-location customer intelligence systems that drive financial results. Her work at Market Force spans industry verticals, including restaurant, various types of retail, and financial services and she serves as executive sponsor to some of the world’s largest brands. Her Ph.D. is in social psychology with an emphasis in research methods and statistics.
Dr. Cheryl Flink, Chief Research Officer
Jim Radcliff, President of Theatrical Services
Jim Radcliff is responsible for overall performance of Market Force’s Certified Reports business (CRI), including financial, operational, client service and sales areas. Jim leads a business that has served the entertainment industry for more than 50 years providing a full range of theatre checking and promotional material installation services.
Prior to joining Market Force, Jim worked in several different service industries, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Washington DC and Atlanta GA for six years, where he most recently served as regional manager responsible for all operational aspects across several locations. He also spent six years with Hyatt hotels in Washington DC working in rooms division management. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Shippensburg University (PA).
Marcus Daley, Chief Technology Officer
Marcus Daley leads the product development and IT organization for Market Force. He brings over 17 years of software development and IT management experience, is the author of several engineering articles and has been honored with various achievement awards.
Marcus comes to Market Force after serving as CTO of Service Repair Solutions, Inc. (SRS) where he was a key contributor to building one of Warburg Pincus’s more successful, high-growth companies. His efforts included launching the company from zero revenue to becoming a repeat Inc. 5000 award winner and building a worldwide team that became a key driver in growing SRS’s product portfolio. Prior to SRS, he had an impactful career with Microsoft where he led many international IT engineering projects, which included building Microsoft’s India Development Center (MSIDC) from ground zero.
Marcus has a strong technical background stemming from his time with a variety of software start-ups and from playing a key role in industry changing initiatives at Fortune 100 companies. He holds a BA from Utah State University and an MBA with honors from Colorado State University.
